Home Owners Association

  • Membership in the Thousand Oaks HOA is by owning property in the Thousand Oaks subdivision.  Every person who is the owner of record of any lot in the subdivision is a Member of the Association.
  • Each property owner has agreed to abide by the HOA Bylaws and honor the Code, Compliance and Restrictions or CCR’s.
  • The Association elects a Board on an annual basis, elected every March by a vote of the members.  Each lot offers one vote at the election held at the March Community Meeting.
  • A member may attend any meeting of the Association,

Board of Directors

The Board has the responsibility for overseeing the Common Areas, Common Improvements, and Common Facilities, establishing the means and methods of collecting the assessments, arranging for the management of the Association, and performing all of the other acts that may be required to be performed by the Association.

Architectural Control Committee

Each building, fence, wall, improvement or other structure must be reviewed and approved before erection, placed, altered, or maintained by the Architectural Control Committee or the A. C. C.
The property owner has the responsibility of submitting all proposed changes to the A. C. C. for review and approval before the constructions starts.  A written plan showing the location of the structure and details of the exterior, color, and design must be submitted to the A.C.C.  You may use the A.C.C Form or your own document.
